Drumline pictures

Just wanted to share a couple pictures of our drumline group and show you how happy they were when we won first.  We were very pleased with our success.

A CRAZY LIFE

So drumline is over now but things have not slowed down.  Milotn is now in T-ball and has at lease on game a week.  We are also involved with the high schools musical Cinderella.  Milton is in teh opening and closing numbers.  Practices till 9 pm the next 2 nights and then 3 days of performances.  Baseball game on friday and John is going to take Milton to see the Vasity baseball game on Friday also.  I left our camera out in the sprinklers, on accident, and the camera in now officially dead so there may not be new pictures for a little while till we can get a new one.

Quentin has an Ear infection and is making his life miserable.  Over 100 degree temps and the chills to boot.  He is doing a little better now that he has his meds.  We are also gearing up for our big fundraiser, A Night of Jazz, and it will be at the end of this month.  So right now I am keeping my eye on the prize.  The second week of May.  We are starting to clean up the back yard for our second year of gardening and we are going to be putting in 5 fruit trees and 2 grape plants.  In a couple of years we are going to have so much food to can we wont be able to leave during the summer.

Johns Sisiter Andrea just had her second little boy on Monday the 12th of April.  Sven is 8 pounds 10 ounces and doing great as far as I know.  That makes 3 nephews and one niece.  OK, Robert its time for you to start producing children now.  My children need a lot more cousins.

John has landed a music gig at the Marriott in town and is looking forward to finalizing the details for this summer gig.  I plan on running the Owens Farm and spending time with my boys.

Drumline wins first place

So John went down to this weekends competition today and when I talked to him late this evening he said the judges had a lot of good comments to include my drill design and the color guard. I like that. We got a score of 91.1 to bring us the the highest score we have ever earned with a drumline. We must be getting better.

Bubbles Bubbles Bubbles

Bubbles Bubbles Bubbles Everywhere

So Quentin really enjoyed the bubble bath. Milton and I put bubbles on his shoulders cheeks and head and he found it to be very entertaining.

Milton also took advantage of the chance to put bubbles on his body too.

Look at those teeth. He now has 5 Teeth, can take up to 5 steps and now says baby, Uh Oh, woof like a dog and so much more.

Smallest Family Reunion Ever

So the small single camp site is Reserved and we look forward to spending 5 days with Robert and his new Wife Heather. Milton is very excited that he will get to spent time with his Tio. We hope next year more people will be able to make it but we are still going to have a blast!

So I had to make something for a service auction at church and decided to make some scrapbook pages. I took pictures of two of the three sets I made. Had to make them fast and did on top of Johns marimba as I waited for the carpet cleaners to come.
I never get to girly stuff so I took this as my only chance.
This one was my second one and my favorite of
the two. I like the loud colors and bold patterns. The brads are mini and sparkle with glitter.
The white area could be for either journaling or another picture.
I knew I would never use this paper with the word "totally" on it with a house full of boys so I added the word "girls" to the next page, Added some cute flowers and added the squares to the first page to tie in the square theme and adorned them with girly stickers like lip stick, nail polish, a high heal shoe and purse. I finished of the squares with a hand drawn line around each one.
I dare to say, these are pretty girly.
I was finaly nice out today and I was able to open up the windows and let some fresh air into the house. Quentin enjoyed a snack out in the sun.
